An essential tool
The 4P Method is a unique and easy to follow guide for any business or non-profit looking to create purposeful alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to see a significant ROI and community impact.
The majority of major corporations around the world have taken a stand on the SDGs and this number is growing every day.
Given the scale of the movement and the ability of large companies to retain consumers, we must stimulate our local economies by helping SMEs to make this same shift.
70% of workers say they would be more loyal and willing to engage with employers invested in CSR.
90% of North American consumers of all ages believe that businesses should be committed to sustainability.
86% of Quebec consumers believe it is important to buy products made here and show solidarity with our responsible companies.
The 4P Method is:
- The most effective starting point for any business or non-profit that recognizes the need to design a sustainability action plan based on a continuous improvement model
- A simple, 4-part journey (PEOPLE, PLANET, PROSPERITY, PURPOSE), which forms the basis of the G4G approach and methodology.
- An approach centred on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as the SDGs are the only global point of reference adopted by the 193 member countries of the United Nations.
- The most crucial criteria common to the hundreds of tools currently available, all within one simplified Method geared to create an optimal positioning for your brand.

The 4P Commitment
When a business or non-profit displays this seal, whether on our local search directory or in other communications, this means it has completed the 4P Method and is committed to deploy an action plan toward achieving the SDGs.
While G4G is not a certifying organization, we monitor the businesses and non-profits within our community to ensure they demonstrate progress on their objectives annually. As a community, we celebrate all progress and put forward those businesses and non-profits with the greatest or most consistent achievements.
